WELCOME TO ALMENDRAS BARNÉS
We are a family business dedicated to the production and transformation of almonds for more than 40 years. With the third generation at the helm, we continue with our trajectory of work and dedication in the trade and wholesale distribution of selected almonds for the national and international markets.
We currently have an updated processing plant, with modern machinery and greater work capacity, in which we have the latest technologies in optical sorting, which allow us to guarantee exceptional selection and quality.
We work to serve the farmers of our land, who produce mediterranean almonds with the best organoleptic and nutritional qualities, in the most sustainable way and under harsh conditions in dryland farming. Thanks to them we can provide our national and international cutomers with the best Spanish almonds, always with the commitment to offer the highest quality in our work and the best service.

OUR PRODUCTS
We have in our portfolio the best varieties of Spanish Almond. Among them, the Largueta, Marcona, Ferragnes and Guara varieties stand out, as a sample of the distinctive quality of the mediterranean almond compared to products from other origins.
There are a large number of other varieties that have traditionally been processed under the name of Comuna Almond, also known in international markets as Valencia Almond or simply Valencias. Nowadays, there are new modern varieties that give some advantages in their cultivation, like self-fertile pollination and late blooming, that facilitate their cultivation in cold areas. Thus, in the current market you can find early-blooming and late-blooming Comuna Almonds, with the latter being appreciated for the possibility of guaranteeing the absence of bitter almonds.
Of course, we have our almonds in peeled and industrialized presentation, in the form of dices, sticks, slices and flour.
In addition to our excellent almonds, we market the almond shell as a by-product that we obtain in the shelling process, for use as biomass fuel for industrial boilers and domestic heating.
